Queen Gallery presents Norouz Group Show

SNAP Downtown Toronto

Norouz, which means ‘new day’ in the Persian language, is the traditional Iranian New Year’s ceremony. The Queen Gallery (382 Queen Street East) welcomed the New Year with an exciting group show featuring artworks by exceptional visual artists, live music by Mahsa Ghassemi Madahian, a live rug-making demonstration with Shiva Moghadasi, and a fantastic storytelling performance by the legendary Ariel Balevi who was set to tell the story of Ajil-e Moshkel Gosha. The exhibition included paintings, sculptures, jewellery and more! Thanks for inviting us to join in on the traditional Iranian cultural celebration and share it with the community.
